I was born in Mexico and started my musical studies in a music school called Academia de Musica Stratto, where then at the age of 16 I began giving classes and started playing Bass.

Knowing that music was my passion I pursued it going to study at Souza Lima and Berklee in Sao Paulo Brazil, where I started to really submerged and get deeper into Jazz, Brazilian music, harmony, arranging, and enhancing my bass skills.

After 2 years of studying with one of the best musicians of Sao Paulo such as Lupa Santiago, Sizão Machado, Gilberto de Syllos, Guilherme Ribeiro and a lot more, I decided to pursue my dream since i was 13 of going to Berklee College of Music.

Now Im on My 2nd year here and I have studied with worldwide icons of the bass like Victor Wooten, John Patitucci, Steve Bailey, Lincoln Goines, Oscar Stagnaro, Bruce Gertz and many more.

I am currently majoring on Performance and classical composition.

Music for me is that best friend where you can say what you are really thinking, that always will be there for you. So i just want to understand it and be able to transmit it as purely as i can so i can make others feel the way i do when i play.

FUNNY STORY

I didn't know Berklee had composition and Jazz composition, i have never been exposed to a lot of  classical music in my life and didnt know a lot about it, so i enter my first class at Berklee and see that i only heard classical music and there was no Jazz, so i ask "When are we going to get some Jazz?" everyones just looked at me and laughed, then i liked so much that i stayed and now i'm majoring in classical composition!

"Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything."

I am a very versatile bass player thanks to being born in a household with a Mexican father and a Brazilian mother, being able to absorb both of these cultures made not only a better musician but it opens your mind that if there are so many differences in Latin America imagine in the world.

And now coming to berklee and having contact with all these people from all over the world open my mind to genres, ideas and made a more understanding and better human being
